Bio: This is my 17th year of teaching. I began at Meadowlawn Middle School in St. Petersburg, Florida. There I taught math for 3 years. I then moved to Hart County Middle School and taught science and math for 8 years. This is my sixth year at South Hart Elementary.
I grew up in Hart County and graduated from Hart County Comprehensive High School in 1994. I then attended Emmanuel College and received a degree in 4-8th grade education in 1999. In 2007 I earned a Master's Degree in Mathematics from Walden University. I am certified to teach Math, Science, Language Arts, and Social Studies. I am also certified in Gifted education.
My husband and I have four children. Daniel attends Hart County High School. Brooke attends Hart County Middle School. Jordan attends South Hart. Baby Luke is in "play school" at Bright Promises . We reside in the Mount Olivet Community and attend Cornerstone Baptist Church.
My hobbies include reading and couponing. I also LOVE math. I enjoy teaching my students and teaching a pre-school Sunday School class at Cornerstone. Of course, I enjoy anything that involves my husband and kids.
